This thesis examines the uncertain future of my family's ancestral farm on Banks Peninsula, a legacy deeply ingrained in New Zealand's farming heritage. Focused on speculative architecture, this research will explore architectural opportunities within the adaption of New Zealand's farming industry. An adaption that caters towards a more sustainable future. This research sheds light on the challenges and opportunities in securing the future of sustainable farming in New Zealand.
